She’s cute! She’s silly! She’s DAISY!!! And she is only 2-3 years old! Daisy has been making far strides in her socializing! She is on Fluoxetine which has been amazing for her! Just lately, she has started letting us pet her. She still has a long way to go with her rehabilitation, and there’s no guarantee that she will fully rehabilitate from her past. Daisy will need a very patient, quiet, and experienced home with people who are patient, kind, loving, and are in it for her and not for getting snuggles; because this will not be an easy process, and you won’t get snuggles for quite some time- if ever! It is a very rewarding experience to watch puppy mill behavior dogs blossom over time. And it’s a gift to be the provider that gives them everything they need and to see them thrive.
Having another dog in the home would be helpful and desired, as Daisy is more comfortable with dogs as she is people.
We are now accepting applications from people who have a fenced in yard and are experienced with flight risk behaviors and puppy mill dogs.
