Please share this event and invite all your friends, family and puppy lovers. The more the merrier. This is not a race, it’s a cruise. Be safe and have fun. We aim for safety and a good time. Here are a few tips about riding in a group.
Stay close enough together so we can proceed in the group through intersections and traffic lights together, but also make sure leave enough room to give yourself time to maneuver and react to possible hazards and traffic.
Use hand signals whenever possible to help communicate with other riders. We stop at major intersections and turns to let people catch up so we can continue down the road together. Remember, strength in numbers. Ride within your ability and be courteous to others.
Ride in a staggered formation and stay in 1 large group, if you see someone ahead or behind, close the gap and stay together.
We try to have intersection blockers at big intersections so we can stay together. If you see a potential issue and you feel comfortable, feel free to jump in & block the intersection traffic if no one else is around.
We give a 10 min warning before departure at our water stops. At that point when you hear the call, finish your drink, have a smoke, connect your Bluetooth, put on your helmet, etc. and be ready to roll in ten minutes. Each stop is approximately 30 minutes.
At each stop, please try to park all together in one central location, so we can leave tightly together.
If anyone has any issues or problems, communicate it to someone with a Scoot Dawgs shirt and we will help out as best we can.
